Meet the team

Mark Partridge FCA

Mark qualified at Ernst & Young after obtaining his degree at the London School of Economics. After five years in commerce he founded Chariot House with the express intention of helping SME’s understand and control their finances so they could grow and fulfil their potential.

Always a keen sportsman, Mark now devotes much of his spare time to watching his three boys play in various sporting events around the South East.

Mark likes to be involved in the local community raising money for charities through cycling events and helps to pollinate Brighton by keeping bees in the family’s urban garden.

Leanne Leverington ACA

Leanne manages the Chariot House London office where she and her team provide a full out-sourced finance function, as well as traditional accounting services, to many clients from ecommerce start-ups to charitable organisations.

She joined Chariot House as a trainee in 2010 after three years at Fisher Michael in Chelmsford.

With a keen eye for detail Leanne is responsible for ensuring consistency of procedure across Chariot House as well as being its Money Laundering Reporting Officer.

Always keen on fitness, Leanne has more recently taken to two wheels completing London to Brighton and London to Southend bike rides.

Dr Shona Wardrop C.A.

Head of Charity Services. Shona is a highly experienced auditor with over 20 years focused on charity and not for profit entities both in Scotland and England working with a wide variety of different organisations, from community development trusts, to village halls, renewable energy companies, grant making trusts and health based charities, advising not only on financial matters, but governance, vat, and trading subsidiaries.

Prior to qualifying as a C.A. with ICAS (institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland) Shona gained a first-class degree in Arabic Studies at St Andrews University and subsequently completed her Ph.D. in the early development of Shi’ite Theology at Edinburgh University. She also lectured and taught for various periods of time at Durham, St Andrews, and Edinburgh Universities. Shona would have oversight of the research and planning of the audit as well as assisting in technical aspects.

Shona’s main charitable interests have been in the areas of female education, Women’s Aid, and similar organisations.

Kelly Henman ACIPP

Our Head of Payroll, Kelly has been working in payroll for 25 years and has extensive experience in the ever evolving face of payroll and, having worked both in house for large multi site organisations and in bureau, she has a unique view of payroll from both sides of the desk. She joined Chariot House at the beginning of 2018 and has built an excellent service for over 100 clients processing an average of 4000 payslip per month.

In her free time she likes shopping, walking her 2 dogs and films and music and is a keen quizzer!
